Coinbest Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of Coinbest and its crypto-to-crypto exchange functionality.
By using Coinbest or creating an exchange, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the AML/KYC Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority required to enter into a binding agreement where you live, whichever is higher.
2. What Coinbest provides
Coinbest provides an account-free interface for requesting crypto-to-crypto exchange quotes and creating exchanges through integrated third-party exchange infrastructure.
Coinbest does not provide a user account, custodial balance, trading account, brokerage account, investment account, or portfolio-management service.
Provider-sensitive operations are performed server-side through Coinbest's backend. Exchange availability, supported assets and networks, quotes, minimum and maximum amounts, deposit instructions, execution, status, verification requirements, and refund behavior depend on the integrated exchange provider and relevant blockchain networks.
Coinbest does not create a local deposit address for an exchange. Use only the deposit address and memo/tag, if any, displayed for the specific exchange after it has been created.
3. No investment, financial, tax, or legal advice
Coinbest does not provide investment, financial, tax, legal, or trading advice.
Information displayed by Coinbest is provided to operate the exchange service and should not be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or exchange any asset.
You are responsible for evaluating whether using crypto assets and the service is lawful and appropriate for you.
4. Quotes, rates, and availability
Crypto-asset prices and network conditions can change rapidly.
A displayed quote is based on provider information available at that time. A quote may become obsolete if the amount, asset, network, rate mode, provider availability, or market conditions change.
Coinbest currently offers floating-rate exchanges only. A displayed receive amount is an estimate based on information available for the selected route and amount. Coinbest does not promise a quote expiry period, completion time, confirmation count, or guaranteed final receive amount unless that information is expressly provided by the service for the specific exchange.
An asset pair that appears available can become unavailable before creation or execution. Coinbest may require you to refresh, reselect a pair, or request a new quote.
5. Fees and pricing
Coinbest may apply a server-controlled service or partner markup as part of its commercial arrangement with the exchange provider.
Provider or network charges may also affect an exchange where applicable.
The amounts and pricing information displayed for the specific quote or exchange are the relevant service information. Coinbest does not ask the browser or user to supply provider pricing, markup, rate, fee, or receive-amount authority.
Coinbest does not make a blanket claim that every exchange is free of fees or hidden costs.
6. Wallet addresses, networks, and transaction details
You are responsible for supplying an accurate destination wallet address, the correct network, and any required memo or tag. If a supported refund workflow later requests a refund destination, you are also responsible for supplying that information accurately.
Sending crypto assets on the wrong network, to the wrong address, with a missing or incorrect memo/tag, or in a way that does not match the exchange instructions may cause delay, failure, or permanent loss.
Always verify the asset, network, address, memo/tag, and amount before sending funds.
Never send funds to an address from an old exchange simply because it looks familiar. Use only the deposit instructions for the current exchange.
7. Exchange creation and blockchain transfers
Creating an exchange can cause the provider to issue real deposit instructions even if you have not yet sent funds.
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible after broadcast and confirmation. Coinbest cannot reverse a blockchain transfer made by you.
An exchange may be delayed, recalculated, rejected, suspended, or otherwise affected by market movement, network congestion, blockchain confirmation times, provider rules, compliance review, incorrect transaction details, or technical incidents.
8. AML, sanctions, and verification
You may not use Coinbest to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, theft, ransomware, trafficking, illicit-market activity, or other unlawful conduct.
An integrated exchange provider may perform transaction screening and may require identity verification, source-of-funds information, or other compliance information before an exchange can continue, complete, or be refunded.
If verification is required, Coinbest may display a provider-required verification state or a backend-approved provider link.
Coinbest does not promise that every exchange can be completed without verification.
See the Coinbest AML/KYC Policy for additional information.
9. Refunds
Refund behavior is provider-driven and depends on the exchange state, blockchain transaction, compliance status, provider rules, and applicable law.
If a refund becomes available, the integrated exchange provider may require a refund destination, verification, or other information appropriate to the exchange state. Coinbest will present only refund actions and information supported by the actual exchange flow.
Providing any requested refund information does not guarantee that a refund will occur, establish a refund deadline, or guarantee a particular refund amount.
Where provider or network deductions apply, the resulting refund may differ from the original sent amount. Coinbest will not invent a fee, deadline, deduction, or refund status that has not been provided through the applicable exchange flow.
10. Prohibited use
You must not:
- use Coinbest in violation of applicable law;
- use assets you know are stolen or derived from unlawful activity;
- use the service for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, ransomware, scams, or other illegal purposes;
- provide information that you know is false or misleading;
- interfere with, damage, overload, probe, or bypass the security or access controls of the service;
- attempt to obtain Coinbest or provider credentials, signatures, secrets, or private infrastructure information;
- use another person's wallet or funds without authorization.
Coinbest may refuse, restrict, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, provider, or legal reasons.
11. Third-party services and networks
Coinbest relies on third-party exchange infrastructure, blockchain networks, internet infrastructure, wallet software, and other external systems.
Those services are outside Coinbest's direct control and may have their own terms, policies, fees, risks, availability, and compliance requirements.
Links to third-party services do not imply that Coinbest controls their operation.
12. Exchange Status link
Coinbest provides an opaque Exchange Status URL so you can return to an exchange without an account.
Keep that URL private. Anyone who obtains a valid status link may be able to view the exchange information exposed by that page.
Do not publish the link in public chats, forums, or social media.
Support may ask for the safe local exchange reference shown by Coinbest. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or recovery phrases.
13. Service availability
Coinbest may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, software failures, provider outages, network outages, blockchain incidents, security measures, rate limits, or other events.
Coinbest may change, suspend, or discontinue functionality where reasonably necessary.
Coinbest does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
14. User security responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet, device, email, messaging accounts, and Exchange Status link.
Coinbest support will never require your seed phrase or private key.
15. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Coinbest website, software, original text, interface elements, and Coinbest branding are owned by or licensed for use by Coinbest.
Third-party names, logos, networks, and assets remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Disclaimers
Crypto assets and blockchain transactions involve substantial technical, market, legal, and operational risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coinbest is provided on an "as available" basis. No warranty is made that every asset, network, pair, quote, exchange, refund, or third-party service will remain available or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coinbest is not responsible for losses caused solely by matters outside its reasonable control, including blockchain or network events, independent provider failure, wallet compromise, or a user's incorrect address, network, memo, or transaction information.
Any limitation or exclusion of liability is subject to mandatory applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
Coinbest may update these Terms when the service, provider relationships, legal requirements, or product behavior materially change.
The current version and effective date will be published on coinbest.io.
If you do not agree with an updated version, stop using the service.
